EMFACE treatments are designed to be as convenient and comfortable as they are effective. Each session lasts just 20 minutes, perfect to fit into a lunch break or a busy day, and there’s no need to remove makeup or change clothing. You simply lie back while the device gently works on your facial muscles and skin, creating a warming sensation and light muscle contractions that feel more like a gentle workout than a treatment.

Most patients complete a course of four sessions spaced over four weeks. You can return to your day immediately after each session, with no redness, bruising, or visible signs that you’ve had a treatment, only fresher, tighter, more lifted skin that continues to improve over time.

What happens as we age?

As we progress through the years, we can develop a myriad of facial concerns including wrinkles, muscle depletion and loss of facial tone:

  • The muscles in our face naturally atrophy (lose strength and mass), so we lose the contour and volume to our face, making us look older.
  • We can get weakness to the muscles of our face which leads to saggyness and loss of firmness.
  • There is a loss of elasticity in our skin and connective tissues which surround the muscles and this leads to a less youthful appearance
  • Dynamic and Static wrinkles can form. Dynamic wrinkles are those which are created in our face with facial expressions such as frowning or laughing. Static wrinkles are those which are present at rest and these become more prominent as we get older because the skin becomes more lax so the muscle contractions leave behind the visible lines.
  • Muscle tone reduces leading to reduced facial definition.

Emface sessions usually take about 20 minutes. You’ll feel a gentle warm sensation from the RF component and light muscle contractions from the HIFES™ energy. It’s generally comfortable, with no need for anaesthesia or numbing cream.

Dr Neet personally oversees your overall care, and either she or our in house registered, experienced clinic nurse will carry out your Emface sessions—ensuring you receive the highest level of expertise and support.

We usually recommend 4–6 treatments, spaced 1–2 weeks apart, to allow the collagen-building and muscle-toning effects to develop fully. While many of my patients notice subtle improvements even after the first session, optimal results generally peak around three months as the collagen stimulation and muscle toning continue to enhance your skin’s firmness and overall look.
