Urinary Incontinence

Support to Regain Confidence and Control

Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine. It is common, often under-discussed, and can affect both women and men at different stages of life.

For some, it is a small leak when laughing or exercising. For others, it is urgency that feels unpredictable and overwhelming. For many, it is the quiet anxiety of always needing to know where the nearest toilet is.

You are not alone, and it is not something you simply have to live with.

At The Bespoke Clinic, we take a personalised, doctor-led approach to understanding why symptoms are happening and what can realistically help

How Incontinence Can Affect Daily Life

People often tell us:

Even mild symptoms can quietly erode confidence, social freedom, exercise habits and quality of life.

Types of Urinary Incontinence

There are different patterns of bladder leakage, and understanding which type you are experiencing helps guide treatment.

Stress Incontinence

Leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, lifting or exercise. This is commonly linked to pelvic floor weakness.

Urge Incontinence

A sudden, strong urge to pass urine followed by leakage. Often associated with an overactive bladder.

Mixed Incontinence

A combination of stress and urge symptoms.

Post-Prostate Surgery Leakage

Men may experience incontinence following prostate procedures due to changes in pelvic floor strength and sphincter control.

In women, symptoms may arise after childbirth, during perimenopause or menopause, or alongside vaginal tissue changes.

Why Does It Happen?

Bladder control depends on coordination between pelvic floor muscles, bladder muscle activity, hormonal support, connective tissue integrity and nervous system signalling.

Changes in any of these can contribute.

Common contributors include:

Understanding your specific drivers allows us to tailor care appropriately.

Our Approach at The Bespoke Clinic

We focus on careful assessment, education and appropriate treatment options.

Pelvic Floor Strengthening with EMSELLA

EMSELLA is a non-invasive, chair-based treatment designed to stimulate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Strengthening these muscles can improve bladder support and reduce leakage in stress and mixed incontinence.

Clinical studies have shown improvement in pelvic floor function and quality of life measures in selected patients. After medical assessment, and understanding on an individual’s symptoms, this may be a valuable, non surgical option for people with poor pelvic floor control.

Internal Tissue Support for Women, Ultra Femme 360

In many women, bladder leakage does not occur in isolation. It can overlap with changes in the vaginal tissues that develop after childbirth or during the hormonal transitions of perimenopause and menopause.

These changes may include:

Ultra Femme 360 is a medical radiofrequency treatment designed to restore tissue quality within the vaginal canal. The technology delivers controlled volumetric heating to the vaginal tissues, stimulating circulation and triggering natural collagen remodelling within the supportive connective tissue.

Collagen and elastin fibres play an important role in the structural support of the vaginal wall and surrounding pelvic tissues. When these fibres weaken or lose elasticity, symptoms such as vaginal laxity, reduced lubrication, and mild stress urinary leakage may occur.

Clinical studies of radiofrequency vaginal therapies have demonstrated improvements in vaginal tightness, lubrication, sexual function and symptoms of stress urinary incontinence following a course of treatments. Some studies have also shown measurable tissue changes, including new collagen formation and increased blood supply within the treated area.

For carefully selected women, improving vaginal tissue quality may therefore contribute to improved pelvic support and a reduction in symptoms where mild stress leakage coexists with vaginal laxity or menopausal tissue change.

At The Bespoke Clinic we position Ultra Femme 360 thoughtfully and as part of a wider pelvic and intimate health plan. Incontinence is so much more than the obvious physical issues- we understand this and look at your holistically.

A Personalised, Doctor-Led Plan

Not every person needs device-based treatment. Some may benefit from pelvic floor physiotherapy, bladder retraining strategies, hormonal support, lifestyle changes or further investigation.
Our role is to assess your symptoms properly, discuss realistic expectations and guide you towards the safest and most appropriate option for your situation.

Start the Conversation

Incontinence can feel isolating, but it is common and often manageable. Taking the first step to talk about it is often the most important part of the journey.

If you would like to explore your options, we would be happy to support you.
